Care & Origin
Where craftsmanship meets considered living.
Our Philosophy of Care
At AUVÉE, we create pieces meant to live with you—soften with time, breathe with your skin, and age with intention. Proper care ensures your linen maintains its strength, drape, and quiet elegance for years to come. Linen is naturally durable, biodegradable, and low-impact. With gentle care, each piece will develop its own character: a patina that reflects how you wear and love it.

How Your Garment Was Made
Designed in Manila
Every silhouette begins with intentional design—clean lines, relaxed structure, and versatile forms inspired by unhurried living.
Crafted in Chiang Mai, Thailand
We work closely with our atelier partners in a slow, hands-on process:
- Fabric cutting and pattern placement by hand
- Seam-by-seam assembly on specialty machines
- Pressing, finishing, and final QC checks
- Labels, trims, and spare buttons sewn individually
Each garment passes through multiple touchpoints to ensure consistency, purity of form, and long-wear comfort.
Garment Care Guide
Washing
- Machine wash on gentle with like colors
- Use cold water to preserve fibers and color
- Choose mild, non-bleach detergent
- Turn garments inside out before washing
- Avoid fabric softeners—they coat natural linen fibers
Drying
- Air dry flat or on a padded hanger
- Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods
- Tumble dry on low only if needed (may soften linen further)
Ironing & Steaming
- Iron while slightly damp for best results
- Use medium heat
- Steam to relax natural creases
- We embrace linen’s lived-in texture—press only if you prefer a crisp look
Storing
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Avoid hanging knits or heavy, bias-cut pieces for long periods
- Use breathable garment bags instead of plastic
Sustainability & Traceability
Every AUVÉE piece is made in small, intentional batches to reduce waste and honor craftsmanship.
From flax to finished garment, each step is documented with care—ensuring transparency, fair partnerships, and mindful production.
We continue to refine our processes to support:
- Low-impact dyeing
- Responsible material sourcing
- Fair-maker compensation
- Long-wear garment longevity
Spare Button Pouch
Your garment includes a small glassine pouch with spare buttons. It is stitched during production, made to match the care-label size, and wrapped in protective tissue—no printing, no excess waste.
